OUR VISION
Lambda Chi Alpha’s vision to lead a co-curricular Greek movement, predicated on partnership and collaboration amongst the undergraduates, host institutions, alumni and General Fraternity, and offering an experience that focuses on the maturational development of today’s college man. As such, it is the vision of Lambda Chi Alpha to extend itself beyond the traditional social fraternity in practice and principle.
Our brotherhood is dedicated to enhancing the collegiate experience and providing personal, professional, and leadership development through a strong brotherhood. Some of the biggest ways our organization is transforming men’s lives is through leadership development, networking opportunities, academic support, and creating opportunities to give back to those around us.
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
My name is Robert Rucando, and I am from Robertsdale, Alabama. I am a Junior studying Mechanical Engineering and I am the current High Alpha (President). I also served on the Executive Committee prior to my term as President. On Campus, I have also been the Director of Facility Projects for Auburn’s Student Government Association. This summer I will intern for Hargrove Engineers in Mobile, AL, refining my engineering ability and gaining industry experience. I hope to become a lawyer, and plan on going into Intellectual property. Lambda Chi has truly been the best part of my college experience. Through various leadership positions and peers that hold me accountable, I have grown more than I could have ever expected from a social fraternity. My favorite memory as a Lambda Chi would be our Omega Bowl brotherhood bowling tournament. It brings together all the brotherhood and is something that we all look forward to and cherish each year. Lambda Chi has provided me a social and professional network that has quickly brought new opportunities to my life, which is something I wanted to gain from college experience. Alongside the social aspect, Lambda Chi has refined my leadership and communication skills. As President, I have been able to learn from my peers and take their feedback as a way to grow. I cannot express how grateful I am for the opportunities I have gained from LXA. I hope to become a reliable and faithful father, husband, and friend, and I believe Lambda Chi has prepared me to become just that.
